Unlike Android, there is no dedicated app to download Facebook videos on iPhone or iOS. And if you try to download a Facebook video using online services (like method #2 Fbdown) then it won’t work. Because when you click on the download button, it’ll start playing the video but you’ll not see any option to download it.

But there is a simple way to fix that — simply use a file browser’s web browser to open website instead of using the regular web browser like chrome or safari. Let’s see how this is done.

On your iPhone or iPad, download and install free FileMaster app (or use any file browser that has the basic inbuilt web browser). Go to the web browser section and open fbdown.net. Next, enter the URL of the facebook video you want to download and hit the download button. The moment you do that, you’ll see a pop-up from the app, asking you to download it. Confirm it and that’s it. To view the downloaded video go to Download section inside the File browser app.

Pros

  • Works like charm on both iPhone and iPad

Cons

  • It adds one more step to the process, now you have to open the link in the file browser’s browser.
